Ilios

The Ilios is the Tribe that owns the Easter area of the territory. It was formed when their group collided with the Asteri wolves. Both stunned and tense for a moment, it faded away into nothing but acceptance. The 6 traveled until they came to a lush land, they found a lone wolf with a people tribe. The wolf declared the group represents the Asteri "Star" and the Ilios "sun" - two opposites that need one another to survive. The two sides of balance.

Each tribe grew fast, they formed traits, myths, celebrations and much more. Many they shared, some unique to a specific tribe.
The Ilios wolves differ a bit from their sister tribe. They're known to be a bit lankier, built for long runs and quick paced agility. Ilios wolves love flat, open areas. They're built to competitively race over the ground, what's remarkable is they rarely make a sound while doing it. No matter how fast they're running, it's as if they still see every leaf and twig ahead of them, avoiding them and any extra noise it may cause. The Asteri wolves swear the Ilios can "fly" the way they glide over the earth with no paw steps heard. These canines also contain knowledge of many useful things such as herbs, weather, land, and histories. They make excellent healers, Rangers, and spies. It never takes them too long to find their way around. Speed, agility, and knowledge are great gifts to have, however some Ilios are known for their sharp tongues and aggression. They're knowledgeable and know they can't often win the battles they strike up, yet that doesn't phase them. They're remarkably adamant about their decisions.

The Ilios' myth declared that those in the eastern land have heightened senses. Their sight, scent, and hearing is at least twice as good as before. Perhaps that's how they manage to avoid the small twigs and leaf piles while at top speed. They're eyes narrow and pinpoint all obstacles to avoid for the fastest, quietest route. Again, like the Asteri, no one is entirely sure how these wolves contain such an ability. Perhaps it's something they've learned, long ago and it's simply passed down, maybe it's a gift from the sun god. All we know for sure, is a true Ilios will one day contain this gift again after spending time in the Ilios land.

One celebration that originated in the Ilios land was the Sun festival. Much like the Asteri's star festival, this celebration welcomes both sides. The groups will travel outside the territory, in search of "spark rocks" also known as flint and steel. The wolves will gather as much old, dry branches as they can and will bring them to Sunwalker Rocks. When the sun sets, they will use the spark rocks to light a fire. The fires light will illuminate the scarlet colored scenery and the tribe will have their own personal sun for the entire night. (Full description of Sun Fest will be in Ceremony/Festival thread)
